Merrill Lynch transplant from Cincinnati buys Schubert mansion
1308 W. Schubert Ave.
J. David Sontag and his wife, Diane, bought a five-bedroom, 4.1 bath at 1308 W. Schubert Ave. in Lincoln Park for $1,737,500 from 1308 West Schubert LLC on May 12.
Mr. Sontag is the director of the Midwest region of global wealth management operations for brokerage giant Merrill Lynch. He was hired for the position in January.
Prior to coming to Chicago, Sontag spent eight years as the head of Merrill Lynch's branch in Cincinnati, Ohio.
