Chris Gloede bought a two-bedroom, two bath condo at 3534 N. Lake Shore Dr. in Lake View for $365,000 from G. Gordon Davis on May 30.
Unit #12C is one of 164 in the 12-story building, which was built in 1924 and converted to condominiums in 1979.
Gloede is a partner and interactive marketing director in the Chicago office at Ogilvy & Mather, an international advertising, marketing and public relations firm.
He's also worked as the vice president of marketing and product management at Katabat, a consultant at United Airlines and a vice president at Publicis Advertising.
He earned his M.B.A. and his bachelor's from the University of Chicago.
