Men's pants company founder sells on Dickens
Brian Spaly sold his two-bedroom, two bath at 350 W. Dickens Ave. in Lincoln Park for $620,000 to Peter and Winfred Maki on June 9.
Spaly paid $595,000 for the property in July 2007.
Spaly is a co-founder and designer for Bonobos, an online retailer and distributor of men's pants and accessories. He co-founded the company with Andy Dunn in 2007 and established the online retailer's headquarters in Manhattan.
In 2007, Chicago magazine named him one of Chicago's twenty most eligible bachelors.
Spaly previously worked largely in private equities in San Francisco with Bain & Company and Parthenon Capital, as well as Accumed in Austin, Texas.
He earned his M.B.A. from Stanford University and his bachelor's from Princeton University. He is originally from Ann Arbor, Mich.
