David E. Muschler and his wife, Ann Becker, bought a two-bedroom, one bath condo at 525 W. Hawthorne Place in Lake View for $255,000 from Sudevi and Pankaj Thaker on July 10.

Unit #807 is one of 231 in the Hawthorne Place development.

Muschler is a partner at Chicago law firm Bailey Borlack Nadelhoffer, LLC. He specializes in construction, real estate and arbitration law.

Originally from Aurora, Ill., he earned his J.D. from Northwestern (1973) and his bachelor's from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. ('68).
