Financial planner sells in Hampden high-rise

Malay Vasavda and his wife, Bina, sold their two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 2700 N. Hampden Court in Lincoln Park for $305,000 to Jason Gunther and Erica Burgland on Aug. 26.
Unit #16D is one of 95 in the 25-story high-rise, built in 1968 and converted to condominiums in 1995.
Mr. Vasavda is the principal of Quantum Financial Management, an independent advisory firm in Chicago. He worked for General Electric, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, The Home Depot, and Premier Farnell prior to starting his own firm in 2005.
He earned his MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1998).
