Kyle De Jong and his wife, Jolene, bought a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 844 W. Grace St. in Lake View for $422,500 from Jason Booth and his wife, Karin, on Sept. 8.
Unit #2 is one of three in the building.
Mr. De Jong is an attorney in the Chicago office of international law firm Winston & Strawn. He specializes in complex commercial litigation, including securities fraud, product liability, class actions, and white-collar crime. He was a member of the trial team that represented former Illinois Governor George H. Ryan in his 2006 public corruption trial.
De Jong earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (2004) and his bachelor's in political science from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., in 2001.
Mr. Booth is a corporate partner in the Chicago office of international law firm DLA Piper. He specializes in securities and private equity matters for the firm, which he joined from Winston & Strawn in Sept. 2007.
He earned his J.D. from the Harvard Law School (1998) and his bachelor's in political science and history from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. ('95).
