Plato C. Lee bought a 2.5-bath home at 1080 Bluebird Lane in Unincorporated Bloomingdale Township from JPMorgan Chase for $446,000 on Aug. 3.
JPMorgan Chase foreclosed on the property in March 2009. The 3,046-square-foot home in the Roselle North neighborhood was built in 1997.
Lee is a therapeutic radiologist. He has served as director of medical physics at Illinois Pain Institute, Alexian Bros. Medical Center, Illinois Gamma Knife Center, Chicago Prostate Cancer Center, Chicago Brachytherapy and Alexian Bros. Radiation Oncology. He also taught in the radiotherapy department at Loyola University.
He earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University and completed his training in medical physics from the University of Chicago.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 111 sales in Unincorporated Bloomingdale Township during the past 12 months, with a median price of $245,000.
