Robert and Christine Kulagowski sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 543 71st St. in Darien to Quentin and Renee Sims for $280,000 on Sept. 29.

The Kulagowskis paid $212,000 for the property in May 2001. The 1,128-square-foot house in the Plainfield Highlands subdivision was built in 1957.

Mr. Kulagowski works as a senior voice engineer at Spencer Stuart, an executive search and consulting firm.

He received his B.S. in computer science from St. John's University in 1992.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 126 home sales in Darien during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $357,000.
