Dr. Chediak paid $290,000 for the property in March 2008. The 3,057-square-foot house was built in 1977 in Armstrong Park/Central Carol Stream. It is located in the Western Trails subdivision.

Dr. Chediak is an oncologist and hematologist at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

He earned his M.D. from Central University of Ecuador in 1996 and completed his residency at Hospital Eugenio Espejo Quito in Ecuador and his fellowship in clinical hematology at the Michael Reese Medical Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 310 home sales in Carol Stream during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $165,500.
