Associate for congregational life sells Geneva 3BD

Medium dd290ceaae2ead5c9d544f614f0c656a Bromleigh McCleneghan and Joshua Hammond sold a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 621 Illinois St. in Geneva to Thomas M. Foley Jr. and Margaret Dower Foley for $265,000 on Oct. 9.

McCleneghan and Hammond paid $285,000 for the property in July 2009. The 1,358-square-foot home in Geneva Central was built in 1921. It is located in the Elmwood of Geneva subdivision.

According to The Christian Century website, McCleneghan serves the Rockefeller Memorial Chapel at the University of Chicago as an associate for congregational life. She is the co-author of the book, Hopes and Fears: Everyday Theology for New Parents and Other Tired, Anxious People (Alban Institute).

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 469 home sales in Geneva during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $276,000.
