School chancellor buys 3BD home in Crete

Medium 9a57fd3f1657536e8f846df769767142 Jack Schaap and Cindy Schaap bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1225 E. Bemes Road in Crete for $628,700 from George L. Tamminga and Ruth M. Tamminga on Nov. 14.

The 1,679-square-foot house was built in 1875.

Jack Schaap is a chancellor at Hyles-Anderson College and pastor of the great First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana.

He holds a B.A. in pastoral theology and an M.A. from Hyles-Anderson College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 221 home sales in Crete during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $125,000.
