Negele and Greenwald bought the property for $520,000 in Aug. 2004. Unit #2801 is one of the 398 in the 42-story high-rise condo at 2650 N. Lakeview Ave., which was built in 1972.

Dr. Negele is a plastic surgeon and hand surgeon who is affiliated with St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates and Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.

She earned her M.D. from the University Of Missouri School Of Medicine. She completed her plastic surgery residency at the University of Cleveland and finished her graduate education in surgery at the Finch University Health Science Chicago Medical School and the University Hospitals of Cleveland for plastic surgery.

Dr. Greenwald is an anesthesiologist in Chicago.

He earned his M.D. from National Autonomous University of Mexico. He finished his residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and his graduate education in surgery at Washington Hospital Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center.

Sales at 2650 N. Lakeview Ave. were down 42.9 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price fell 18.1 percent during that time.

There were 675 condo sales in Lincoln Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $387,000.
