Erin and Robert Kettel bought a home at 935 W. Belden Ave. in Lincoln Park from Scott DeKuiper for $373,500 on April 22.

DeKuiper paid $330,000 for the property in July 2004. The 1,024-square-foot house was built in 1977.

Ms. Kettel has served as a web content producer and communications specialist at Hu-Friedy, a manufacturer of dental instruments. She previously was a marketing and communications coordinator at Hu-Friedy and Loyola Press.

She received her B.A. in English, writing and speech communications at Albion College.

DeKuiper has served as a vice president at Cole Taylor Bank.

He attended Hope College.

There were 847 home sales in Lincoln Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $435,000.
