College instructor, lawyer trade Lake View condo

Kevin D. Navratil and Shannon C. Nelson bought a condo at 827 W. Roscoe St. in Lake View from Thomas D. Shakeshaft for $355,500 on April 24.

Shakeshaft paid $265,000 for the property in Feb. 2001. Unit #3N is one of four condos at 827 W. Roscoe St., which was constructed in 1902.

Navratil has been an instructor of political science at Moraine Valley Community College.

He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. in psychology.

Shakeshaft has been a lawyer in Chicago.

There were 907 condo sales in Lake View in 2008, with a median sales price of $302,250.
