Alan and Jennifer Loewy bought a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 2932 N. Wood St. in Lake View from Adam and Kerrie Weber for $505,000 on April 30.

Unit #D is part of the Wellington Park condominium development. It was constructed in 2001.

Mr. Loewy serves the vice president of the private wealth management group at JP Morgan, where he works as a financial advisor. Prior to joining JP Morgan, he worked with Goldman Sachs’s investment management division as a summer associate and a full-time associate.

He earned his B.B.A. from Emory University.

Ms. Loewy is a certified child life specialist at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital.

She holds an M.S. in child development from the Erikson Institute, an M.S.W. from Columbia University School of Social Work and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan.

Ms. Weber is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Chicago. She specializes in adolescent, adult, and couples therapy and has more than 12 years of experience in the field of psychology.

She received her B.A. in psychology from Eastern Illinois University and her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Sales at Wellington Park dropped 40 from 2007-2008. The median sales price, however, rose 2.7 percent during that same time period.

There were 910 condo sales in Lake View in 2008, with a median sales price of $303,000.
