Hawks' Jonathan Toews drops $1.475M on Chandler condo

Medium e4abec585df677348e2be9d46f5c7208 Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews bought a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 450 W. Waterside Dr. in Steeterville for $1.475 million from James and Heidi Baumann on July 24, 2008.

The Baumanns paid $1,369,500 for Unit #3209 in May 2008. There are 300 units in The Chandler, which was built in 2007.

Toews, 20, just finished his first full season with the Blackhawks after he was taken by the team third overall in the 2006 NHL Draft out of the University of North Dakota. The Winnipeg native appeared in 64 games in his rookie campaign, scoring 24 goals and adding 30 assists while earning a nomination for the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie. He was named captain of the team on July 18.

Toews has also skated for the Canadian national team, earning a gold medal in the 2007 World Championships in Moscow.
