Joanne Nemerovski bought a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 515 W. Belden Ave. in Lincoln Park from Edmond and Kathryn Lewis for $405,000 on May 15.

The 1,100-square-foot Unit #1 was built in 1968.

Nemerovski is a vice president and broker associate at Prudential Preferred Properties’ Lincoln Park office. Previously, she worked with Koenig & Strey and at GMAC Real Estate. Prior to her real estate career, she was a law practitioner.

She earned her business degree at Indiana University and her J.D. at DePaul University.

There were 856 home sales in Lincoln Park in 2008, with a median price of $433,000.
