Consulting firm associate buys in University Village

Andrew D. Schmahl bought a three-bath townhome at 845 W. College Parkway in University Village/Little Italy from Monique Pride for $530,000 on Sept. 4.

The 2,140-square-foot unit is part of the University Village Townhomes development.

Mr. Schmahl is a senior associate at Booz & Co., a global management consulting firm. Previously, he was summer associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, a project manager at AmeriCorps VISTA and a senior associate at KPMG Corporate Finance.

He attended the College of William & Mary and the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 105 home sales in University Village/Little Italy in 2008, with a median sales price of $310,250.
