Gianni and Cristina Cutri bought a home at 3744 N. Fremont St. in Wrigleyville from Boutros Peter Kassis for $765,000 on Oct. 22.
Kassis paid $932,500 for the property in Feb. 2006. The 1,317-square-foot home was built in 1906.
Mr. Cutri is a partner in the intellectual property group at the Chicago office of the law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He specializes in high-tech patent and trade secret litigation. Prior to his career at Kirkland & Ellis, he served as an articles editor for the Journal of Law, Technology and Policy at the University of Illinois.
Mr. Cutri received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
Ms. Cutri is an assistant brand manager at the Chicago office of Frito Lay, a manufacturer and distributor of snack foods. She previously worked as a project manager at JPMorgan Chase and as an analyst at Accenture.
She attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
Kassis is a realtor and the owner of Kassis Realty Group in Chicago. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Chicago Association of Realtors and is president-elect of the Illinois chapter of the Certified Residential Specialists. Prior to his career as a realtor, he owned a restaurant and a health club.
He has a degree in marketing and business from Roosevelt University.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 142 home sales in Wrigleyville during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $411,000.
