Mark and Allison Parrell sold a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 7710 Division St. in River Forest to Jingyi Yang and Zhihui Chen for $575,000 on Jan. 28.

The Parrells bought the property for $585,000 in July 2001. The 2,390-square-foot house was built in 1947 in the North River Forest/Dominican neighborhood.

Mr. Parrell is an executive vice president and the chief financial officer at Equity Residential, an owner, developer and operator of multifamily housing. Prior to being named to this position in 2007, he served the company as a senior vice president and treasurer.

He holds a B.B.A. in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 132 home sales in River Forest during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $487,250.
