Cubs president Crane Kenney buys Winnetka home

Medium 2b8e26c0de9118e98fbbc2a05bb48ad8 Crane and Kelly Kenney bought a 4.5-bath home at 1010 Mt. Pleasant St. in Winnetka from Mary and John Flanagin for $1.5 million on Feb. 4.

The 3,791-square-foot home was built in 1953 in the Southwest Winnetka neighborhood.

Mr. Kenney is the president of the Chicago Cubs. He was also the team's chairman prior to its purchase by the Ricketts family. Previously, he has served as the senior counsel and chief legal officer of the Tribune Co.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 152 home sales in Winnetka during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $968,750.
