Tyrus Thomas has listed for sale a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath townhome at 32 Wellesley Circle in Northbrook for $499,900.

Thomas bought the property in the Ivy Club of Northbrook subdivision for $598,000 in Jan. 2007 from fellow NBA player Jannero Pargo. The 2,426-square-foot townhome is part of the Ivy Club of Northbrook development, which was built in 1998 in North Northbrook. Barry Newman of Century 21 M.B. Real Estate is the listing agent.

Thomas is a forward with the Charlotte Bobcats, who acquired him in a trade with the Chicago Bulls in Feb. 2010. The number four overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, he spent three-plus years with the Bulls.

He played college ball at Louisiana State University. Thomas, who has averaged 8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in 279 career contests, signed a five-year, $40 million deal with the Bobcats in July.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 165 condo sales in Northbrook during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $250,000.
