Carrie L. Hunt and Melanie B. Brown paid $385,000 for the property in Feb. 2001. The 1,820-square-foot house was built in 1922 in Rogers Park.

Adam is a developmental psychologist. She serves as an associate professor in education and social policy and a faculty fellow in the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University.

She previously was on the editorial board of Child Development and Journal of Adolescent Health.

She received her Ph.D. in child psychology from the University of Minnesota, her M.A. in public policy from the University of Chicago, and her M.A. in applied developmental psychology and B.S. in psychology from the University of Toronto.
