Sports anchor asking $1.299M in Evanston

Medium 314fc379da00ff920b5404c1e47b0ae3 Michael Adamle and Kim Adamle have listed for sale a four-bedroom, 5.1-bath home at 826 Lincoln St. in Evanston for $1.299 million.

Maureen Spriggs of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the listing agent. The Adamles paid $920,000 for the property in August 2005. The 3,178-square-foot home was built in 1925 in Northeast Evanston.

Mr. Adamle is a sports anchor and reporter at WMAQ-TV in Chicago and the former co-host of "American Gladiators" (1989 to 1996).

He most recently worked for World Wrestling Entertainment, where he was an interviewer on "WWE Raw," a play-by-play announcer on "ECW," and a general manager for the Raw brand. He also has been an anchor at WLS-TV, WMAQ and WBBM-TV. Prior to his hosting career, he played professional football with the Kansas City Chiefs, the New York Jets and the Chicago Bears of the National Football League.

He graduated from Northwestern University in 1971.

Ms. Adamle is an assistant professor in the educational psychology department at National-Louis University in Chicago.

She previously was a school psychologist in Topeka, Kansas, and Santa Monica, California.

She received her Ed.D. from National-Louis University.

The Adamles perviously sold a home at 1200 Asbury Ave. in Evanston for $1.23 million in July 2005.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 780 home sales in Evanston during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $290,000.
