Associate general counsel grabs North Center 5BD for $1M

Medium f8d5a45424dcce6dc7e0418e3e540401 Alison M. Butler bought a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 4155 N. Bell Ave. in North Center from Shawn F. Bowen and Matthew Bowen for $1 million on July 27.

The 3,900-square-foot house was built in 2004. The Bowens paid $1.015 million for the property in Sept. 2008.

Butler serves as an associate general counsel at Wolters Kluwer, a company that provides high-quality digital information to the legal, business, tax, accounting, finance, audit, risk, compliance and healthcare industries.

Prior to this, she was a senior counsel at Accenture and a partner at the law firm Mayer Brown.

She earned her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from the University of Rochester.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 215 home sales in North Center during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $430,000.
