Helen and Alan Weisman have listed for sale a six-bedroom, six-bath home at 1949 Browning Court in Highland Park for $2.495 million.

The 6,211-square-foot house, which was built in 1989, is in the Highland Park West neighborhood. Marla Schneider of Coldwell Banker is the listing agent of the property.

Ms. Weisman is an accomplished artist and has worked closely with J.B. Pritzker in putting up the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. She is one of the center's board of directors.

She has a bachelor of arts and a master of arts in psychology from National Lewis University.

There were 264 home sales in Highland Park in 2008, with a median sale price of $421,438.
