Urologist buys in Lake Forest

Dr. Merrill H. Matschke and Kristin W. Matschke bought a three-bath home at 301 Rose Terrace in Lake Forest from David J. Rohrbach and Melinda W. Rohrbach for $795,000 on Oct. 22.

The 2,108-square-foot house in the Lake Forest East neighborhood was built in 1924.

Dr. Matschke practices urology in Illinois and is affiliated with Lake Forest Hospital.

He received his M.D. from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, completed his residencies at the McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University's Medical School in Chicago, and completed his fellowship at Scott Department of Urology Baylor College of Medicine Houston, Texas.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 156 sales in Lake Forest during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $769,851.
