Estate of former consultant sells 6BD home in Lake Forest

Medium 514fe15fbe6c6c7c06901ebb7e407a8a Per K. Hanson and the estate of Peter A. Meyer sold a six-bedroom, 4.2-bath home at 240 Kimberly Lane in Lake Forest to Mark F. Gorman and Nancie M. Gorman for $1.2 million on Aug. 24.

The 5,742-square-foot house, built in 1985, is in Lake Forest Southwest, in the Old Elm Estates subdivision.

Hanson is the counsel and founder of The Firm of Per K. Hanson Associated P.C., where he focuses on estate planning, estate administration, wills, trusts and estates, and corporate law.

He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Northwestern University.

Meyer established PMI Consultants, offering consulting services in agribusiness. Previously, he was a consultant at Drake Sheanan/Stewart Dougall and served as vice president of corporate development for Sucrest, Inc. He also served as vice president of marketing, technology, and sales for Nabisco Brands Inc.

He received his B.A. in English from Johns Hopkins University and his M.B.A. from New York University.

He passed away in Oct. 2009.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 200 home sales in Lake Forest during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $800,000.
